Rollerball pens have the feeling of writing with a fountain pen but not the hassle of having to change cartridges or fill ink pumps. Refills are usually  Schmidt or Hauser and are readily available from most major office supply houses.
All rollerball pens come in a presentation case suitable for gift giving.

I'm stuck on Gmelia. I think that it is Gmelina wood, but I'm not 100% sure. I won't say anything at this time other than it is a beautiful light to medium tan and takes on a wonderful luster when polished.
It is also a favorite of mine.

Tasmanian Myrtle (Nothofagus cunninghamil) also known as Myrtle beech, is actually closer to the beech family and not the myrtle family known here in the United States.
The heartwood is pink or light reddish brown. Tasmanian myrtle can also have dark black streaks in the wood, sometimes called "tiger myrtle". The texture is very fine and has a high natural luster.

Lacewood (panopsis spp.) is a tropical South American tree growing to about 50 feet.
It has a very conspicuous flecking that gives the wood its namesake. The wood is reddish brown with grey or light brown rays which result in a lace pattern. Lacewood is commonly used in veneers, cabinetry, fine furniture, musical instruments (mostly guitars), and turned products.
The lace pattern is beautiful and you will not be disappointed.

Red maple (acer rubrum), also known as Swamp, Water, or Soft Maple, is one of the most common deciduous trees of eastern North America. Red maple is also used for the production of maple syrup although other maples are more commonly used. The red maple buds emerge much earlier in the spring than other maples and after sprouting, the chemical makeup of the sap changes imparting an undesirable flavor to the syrup. Red maple can only be tapped for syrup before the buds emerge, making the season very short.
